On occasion you may have users who need to have their iCal link reset. This action is able to be completed on the People Management page in Compass.
To reset user iCal links, staff require the UserRecordsAdmin permission.
For information on assigning permissions in Compass, please refer to the 'Permissions' article from our Knowledge Base.
Go to 'People Management' under the Organisation menu (grid icon).
You can either reset links for selected users or reset links for filtered users.
Locate the applicable user/users in your list of user accounts on the 'People' tab.
If using the 'selected' method, tick the box to select the applicable user accounts. Alternatively, if using the 'filtered' method, use the available filter options to create your filtered list of users requiring an iCal reset.
Once you have your user/users selected/filtered, click the 'Actions' button and select 'Reset iCal Link'.
This will then show a pop-up and, depending on the method you used to specifiy the user/users requiring a reset, click the applicable button from the two options available.
You will then be prompted to confirm to proceed. When you do so, this will then reset the iCal link for the selected user/users.
The user/users can then login to Compass and go to the cog menu icon (top right of screen) and choose 'Sync My Schedule' to access their newly reset link.
