Quick Actions
Overview
On the Compass navigation bar you will see a 'Quick Actions' menu. This menu contains a range of short cuts to various functions you may be required to perform.
The list of available options in your 'Quick Actions' menu is dependent on the permissions you have within Compass.
Quick Actions Menu
| Attendance Note | This will open the Attendance Note pop-up to add a note for a student. |
| Arrival | This opens the Arrival pop-up to add a student arrival |
| Departure | This opens the Departure pop-up to add a student departure |
| School Activity | This opens the School Activity screen to create a new school activity |
| Event | This opens the Event template selection screen to begin the process of creating a new Event. |
| Chronicle Entry | This opens the Chronicle Entry pop-up. You will need to select the applicable template and student. |
| Chronicle Meeting Entry | This opens the Chronicle meeting template. You will need to add in the applicable student/students. |
| This opens the email pop-up within which you can add content and recipients to issue an email. This email option also includes the ability to schedule an email to be sent at a later date/time. Please note, once the scheduled send settings are completed, the email cannot be adjusted or deleted, it will automatically send at the set time. | |
| SMS/Push Notification | This opens the Bulk SMS pop-up. |
| News Item | This will open up the pop-up to create a new news feed item. |
